Advanced Climbers Course
Course Duration: 2 Days
Maximum No. of Delegates: 6
Who should attend
This course is intended for personnel
who are required to access exposed working locations
such as masts, towers and pylons.
Course Aims
To provide delegates with the ability
to safely access and work safely on structures or exposed
working locations utilising appropriate fall arrest
and work positioning equipment and systems in accordance
with current legislation.
Occasional Climbers
Course Duration: 1 Day
Maximum No. of Delegates: 6
Who should attend
This course is intended for personnel
who require to access masts, towers or similar structures
via an installed fall arrest system.
Course Aims
To provide delegates with the ability
to safely access masts, towers or similar structures,
utillising appropriate installed fall arrest systems
and equipment in accordance with current legislation.
Working at Height
Course Duration: 1 Day
Maximum No. of Delegates: 8
Who should attend
This course is intended for personnel
who require to work at height as part of their general
duties.
Course Aims
To provide delegates with the ability
to safely work at height utilising appropriate personal
protective equipment, fall arrest equipment and systems
in accordance with current legislation.
Tower Rescue/ Height Rescue
Course Duration: 1 Day
Maximum No. of Delegates: 6
Who should attend
This course is intended for personnel
who require to work at height as part of their general
duties.
Course Aims
To provide delegates with the ability
to safely rescue a casualty after a fall or rescue of
a person suspended in a harness.
Rooftop Awareness
Course Duration: 1⁄2 Day
Maximum No. of Delegates: 8
Who should attend
This course is intended for personnel
who require to access rooftop installations for survey,
installation and maintenance.
Course Aims
To provide delegates with the ability
to safely access flat rooftops or similar unprotected
areas, utilising appropriate fall arrest and work restraint
systems and equipment in accordance with current legislation.
NB. This course can be run
in conjunction with the RF Awareness course.
Radio Frequency Radiation Hazards
Course Duration: 1⁄2 Day
Maximum No. of Delegates: 12
Who should attend
This course is intended for personnel
who require to work in the vicinity of an RF source
such as transmitting antennas on towers or masts or
on rooftop locations.
Course Aims
To provide delegates with a basic understanding
of the hazards associated with RF sources such as telecommunications
antennas and microwave dishes.
NB.
This course can be run in conjunction with the Rooftop
Awareness course.

at height courses
Delegates are to fulfill as a minimum
the following requirements
• Physically able to perform
all tasks expected within the training programme
• Medically fit (certification to be provided
prior to course commencement where required).
